With Imaginations stencil snowflakes lightly blended the colours of blue and pink into the back ground.

Brushed over the babble with blue

I have used from my paper stash hand made coloured backing paper.

Made this myself with Distress Inks and sprayed with water to give the mottled effect.

Then stamp embossed snowflakes in white and glitter embossing powders

Using scrap papers die cut out snowflakes and trees.

I made a hill at the bottom of the card for the trees using template hills and distress inks.

Morning All

Its a sunny day here that strange thing the Sun is out hip hip hooray :)

I have just found this site so thought I would give it a go

Challenge

I love to use Distress inks so this was made first by stamping onto Cut N Foam the image with black Archival Ink

Then with the dropper - drop "blobs" of ink on the foam pad.

Then using the stamp - technical bit - squish the stamp onto the foam pad

Blot and stamp onto your card.

Then using stencils - brush up the clouds, and hills

With the inks still on the stamp - continue to stamp colour around the trees for texture and foreground.

Final part is to use a water brush to blend the foreground colours.

Mount onto pink card to finish Birthday card for my friend. :)

Christmas Advent Calendar

Good afternoon,

been busy these last few days but thought I would share what I have finished making today.

I did wonder if it was suitable for a challenge but the one I looked at is "cards" .....

oh well I am sure my grandson will be pleased with it.

I made the unit as "per the instructions"

Then with many ideas in my head I came up with the finished product.....

I used gilding wax around the edges, gesso white paint for the areas that were papered on the unit. Sticking papers on the top and sides to finish

I die cut out numbers in gold card to stick onto the boxes.

Now I just need to fill the little boxes and deliver it to Farran.

Little Claire's Designs Challenge 63 - Christmas in White Theme

Little Claire's Designs Challenge 63 - Christmas in White Theme

Good afternoon I worked on this challenge yesterday, would have put it on blog but had problems with the photos, not up to scratch so had to wait to charge up the battery for my camera :)

I hope you like the results

I used Sue Wilson dies to cut out the background, poinsettias and trees.

first time  I have used double sided sticky paper to glitter up the background with Cosmic Shimmer diamond snow and I think it worked really well.

Next was to cut out the poinsettias

I mounted the main part onto silver mirri card and  then  mounted onto "a hint of gold card stock" for the main card blank.

Cosmic shimmer Iced Snow on the poinsettias and tree and background spots to highlight the points.

The final part was to mount the flowers, sentiment and tree onto the background and wait for everything to dry and set. :)

So this is the final card now completed.

Clarity Stamp Challenge - November Clean and Simple

Hi there -  here is my card for the

I had the idea in my head and finally it took place and here is the finished result, I thought by keeping to all the same colour hue would keep it clean and simple.

How I made it is shown in the following photos.

Made the background using distress inks and sprayed with water
Decisions on what to use..... Yes its just the top trees just right.

Having inked the trees and then used a mask to cover the trees, used my hill template to make the background still using the same colour.

Then using my Spectrum Noir pencils coloured in the trees with a moon above the trees.

Then using the words Best wishes without the line placed below the trees.

Did try to do a black line around the picture but finally thought NO not right so cut down the final picture.

Final stage is to mount and attach to card with coloured cards behind.

I hope you like this card..... Simple and Clean....
